i'm going to disney and spend some money, not my money but their money! since i have an annual pass i don't need free admission, i will opt for the birthday fun card, which has a value equal to admission!

no NASCAR weekends 10 & 11
ok, i've been preoccupied, weekend 10 wasn't bad because that Friday QVC was as Stewart-Haas Racing and spent an hour with Tony, Ryan was there part of the time.... and weekend 11 wasn't bad either because the boys had been in Daytona for fanfest.
this past weekend was wonderful!! Tony did great in the shootout, coming in 3rd. Ryan came in 3rd in qualifying on Sunday, doesn't mean too much except starting position for the duals, I'm hoping for a Stewart-Haas second row...
the duals are Thursday, i love racing!!

no NASCAR weekend #9
It’s only a few more weeks until real racing begins…there has been some NASCAR activities going on, media tours, testing and this past weekend some of the drivers were in Daytona for a fan fest…
Over in Great Britain there was even some strange race involving cars hauling camper shells around a track, looked more like demolition derby to me than racing.
At least NASCAR righted a wrong from this summer when they changed the format for the Bud Shoot out and made it a manufacturer’s race and not a race of pole winners and past shoot out winners. Originally it was going to be the top 6 cars, not necessarily drivers, of each manufacturer, which left out Tony Stewart since he left JGR to form his own team, SHR, going back to driving a Chevy. The thought of a rookie (Joey Logano) in the race and the 2 time champ out of the race was more than I could handle and I planned on not watching the race….but now each manufacturer has a wild card car and since Tony is a past champion he gets the spot. To be honest I don’t know who gets the wild card for Ford, Dodge or Toyota…my bad. Now I'll watch...

no NASCAR weekend #7
ok, this is getting to be rather difficult....the only NASCAR type sighting was during the Fiesta Bowl activities, the parade on Saturday and the Game last night....the grand marshal, heavy sigh...Tony Stewart! and they didn't make him wear that ugly yellow jacket!
32 days and there will be some sort of NASCAR even if Tony and Ryan aren't in the Shoot out...

no NASCAR weekend #6
6 weeks to go...i resorted to watching the Disney movie "Cars" and once again watching the Prelude to the Dream, ok, that's not a hardship at all, i love dirt track racing and watching the boy slide is amazing...and if there had been any way on this earth i could have been in Ft. Wayne this weekend to see the Rumble i would have!
halfway there....less than 45 days...

no NASCAR weekend #5
This so far has been the hardest weekend to get through, I spent most of it with my mother, who is just getting over being sick. I made about 10 dozen chocolate chip cookies in a 2 hour time period this morning, I made the dough last night.
The forums I belong to are quiet and so is Facebook and I guess it's good news because there doesn't seem to be any NASCAR news either...I did find out that certain members of my family know absolutely nothing at all about my favorite driver and NASCAR, the proof is in the very thoughtful Christmas present I found on my doorstep. Remembering the season, it is the thought that counts and will stay warm while wrapped up with my driver!
